What is APPY POS?
APPY POS is restaurant management software built in Romania. It covers in-venue order taking, the QR digital menu, your own online store, mobile apps under your restaurant’s brand, kitchen display screens, stock management and electronic invoicing — from one admin panel, on a flat monthly subscription with no commission on sales.
- Company: Appy Solutions ltd, Sofia (VAT BG206612061)
- Markets: Romania and Bulgaria
- Interface in Romanian, English and Bulgarian
- Over 300 active locations
- Flat monthly subscription, no per-order commission
- Contact: [email protected]
What does APPY POS cost?
There are three plans. AppyQR Free costs 0 EUR and covers a basic QR digital menu, up to 50 products in one location. AppyQR Smart starts at 7.50 EUR per month billed annually — 90 EUR a year, or 450 RON a year in Romania. Appy POS, the full platform, starts at 49 EUR per month billed annually.
- AppyQR Free — 0 EUR, up to 50 products, one location
- AppyQR Smart — from 7.50 EUR/month annually (9 EUR/month paid monthly)
- Appy POS — from 49 EUR/month annually (59 EUR/month paid monthly)
- No commission on sales on any plan
- Prices are per location
Delivery aggregators typically keep between 20% and 45% of every order. On your own channel built with APPY the commission is zero — you pay the subscription only.
Which modules does APPY POS include?
The platform has twenty documented modules, each with its own page. They all write to the same database, so an order arriving through the QR menu, the online store or an aggregator lands in one place, and stock is deducted once regardless of the channel the order came through.

What does APPY POS integrate with?
Integrations fall into four groups: delivery portals, payment processors, fiscalisation, and external management or accounting systems. Portal sync runs both ways — the menu and availability go out from APPY, orders come back into the POS automatically, with no separate tablet on the counter.
- Delivery portals: Glovo, Wolt, Bolt Food

What kinds of venue is it built for?
APPY POS has dedicated pages for nine hospitality business types, each with its own configuration and workflow. The differences are not cosmetic: a pizzeria needs modifiers and recipes, a food truck needs mobility and fast payment, and a canteen needs recurring orders and per-employee billing.
- Pizzerias
- Cafes
- Bars
- Fast food
- Food trucks
- Canteens
- Bakeries and patisseries
- Dark kitchens
- Catering
Which legal obligations does APPY cover?
The QR digital menu automatically produces what Romanian ANPC Order 201/2022 requires: ingredients, the 14 allergen categories, food additives and the nutritional declaration calculated from the recipe. Separately, the e-Factura module generates and transmits electronic invoices to ANAF under current Romanian law.
- ANPC Order 201/2022 — digital menu with allergens, additives and nutritional values
- e-Factura — automatic generation and transmission to ANAF
- SAF-T — reporting from stock data
- Fiscal receipts — through the FiscalNet integration
What does APPY POS NOT do?
This list is here because it is more useful than another set of superlatives. APPY does not fiscalise on its own: the fiscal receipt is issued through the FiscalNet integration, which talks to the certified cash register. Appy POS Bridge, the print server, runs on Windows only and does not support Bluetooth printers.
- It is not a cash register and does not replace one
- It implements no fiscal protocol of its own — fiscalisation goes through FiscalNet
- Appy POS Bridge runs on Windows only, not macOS, Linux, Android or iOS
- No Bluetooth printer support
- No ZPL, TSPL or EPL label languages
- QR codes yes, 1D barcodes no
- No automatic failover to a backup printer
If a vendor promises you guaranteed fiscal compliance without naming the device or middleware that delivers it, ask exactly how. Ours is FiscalNet.
